First impression

Some people have the ability of knowing people by their first impression. Personally, I don't want to judge someone by his first impression because I want to give a chance at first. First impression is important because not everyone can offer a second chance and not every possibility can come twice.

first impressions do not always last. but i think it's also important that you send good impression on people that you'll meet. but make sure you really are that person or else that's when "do not last" comes in. bad first impressions should not last, but good ones should =)

First impressions can be misleading.....people are so quick to judge sometimes.....meeting a new person can be very stressful at times.....the circumstances under which you meet a new person can also influence the way you see that person sometimes.....I try not to be judgemental when meeting a new person...and I hope that they give me the benefit of the doubt at first too. It is just not possible to "know" a person when we first meet them.

I think it depends on the person... I've met someone who is really good in judging people by just looking at them and talking to them even for a few minutes. On my case, i don't stick with my first impressions on people. It usually change, so i keep my self guarded when meeting new human being, i find it difficult to be guarded most of the time, but what can i do, it is better than being fooled by others. lol

Very true. Sometimes you need more than one first impression to really get to know what a person is like. Maybe the first impression was not a good one, but say you meet again a second time then a third, each time you will notice something more about the person. This is how relationships work, you date then once you get to know the person you become and item, if you still love what you find and you know this person is for you, then you've truly been impressed, that is where marrage comes in. At least this is how it worked for me.

i usually judged a person by the first impression.but sometimes i find that may be subjective ,so it's not all right for me,because just as you said that first impression cannot show me the truth about someone.So i believe that time can tell us everything we want to know about a person,so i try to understand a person by long-term contact instead of the first impression.

people believe in impression last longer.. it matter to them your physical not your looks in your inside..and thats the heart. People just deceive in looks..for me whenever you meet people be good to them because that impression will stick untill they mingle with u..
