Best/Most Reliable Sneaker Brand?

I have always been really into the look of different sneakers, but more recently I have tried to cut back on money I spend and I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with the best sneaker brand for the price... It seems to me that Jordan's, and all Nikes at that, tend to be really over priced... but they offer more support than Adidas or New Balance, which are a bit cheaper. Its complicated! Any advice?
