Are you closer to your Mother or Father?

Which one? Why do you think a person attatches themselves to one parent more than the other? If both your parents were present in your life and took care of you, why did you get along better with one over the other?
For me, I always got along better with my dad, I think it is because I am more like him and we can talk more about certain things.

I am definitely closer to my mom. She has been my pillar and my strength. Im already in my mid 20's but I still am dependent on her. After a day's work, when i got home, she's the first one I look for. Her presence, somehow relief my stress. Her smile gives me hope and inspiration. I always love her to be my companion whenever my boyfriend isn't around to accompany me. I really am more comfortable being with my mom.

Well, when I was a child I was closer to my dad because he was more playful and was bringing me sweets and a lot of stuff but when I grew up I discovered what a wonderful person my mom is and now we are really close to each other , discussing everything...
