Is it just me, or do the three Sannin not really like eachother. Tsunade and Jiraiya have a relationship like Naruto and Sakura without the thick layer of warm-hearted love that is apparent in all their actions. Orochimaru is like a Sasuke who Sakura (Tsunade) doesn't have a crush on. Jiraiya and Orochimaru were pretty close, but Jiraiya all ways thought he was pretty messed up. Then Sandaime was nice to everyone but obviously favored Orochimaru which pissed off Jiraiya. And Tsunade didn't seem to care much when she found out Oro killed her sensei. They aren't as charming as Team 7 as a team it seems, because noone cares about eachother much. Where's the bonds?Thoughts?In all honesty, they seemed really similar in the flashbacks we were shown of them. Jiraiya (Naruto) thinks Tsunade (Sakura) is beautiful and peeps (loves) her. Orochimaru (Sasuke) is coldly disinterested, amused, and only hopes to get stronger. The only real difference is that we didn't get to see them interact before Orochimaru left. But the mere fact that Jiraiya went out to change his mind (and failed) shows that the skill level was roughly the same, Jiraiya cared for Orochimaru, and other similar emotional ties. It's just that they've had decades to brew their discomfort and sorrow into cold hatred, whereas Naruto and Sakura haven't. Yeah i think they out grew their love for one another, over the years. Jiraiya even stated that if Tsunade joined Orochimaru that he would not think twice about killing her off. Naruto is trying to prevent the same fate from repeating itself. Jiraiya even stated that when Orochimaru betrayed the villiage, that he could only let Orochimaru go. Where as Naruto boldly stated that he would chase Sasuke down to the ends of the earth and drag himself back to Konoha. Also, "What kind of person can become a Hokage if he can't even save one person?"Naruto is definitely locked in to become a Hokage. As for the fate of Sasuke and Sakura, who knows.
