Why people betray parents at their old age?

Don't you think that betrayal of parents by their children has become a common scenerio in our society.Most of the people betray their parents after marriage when their parents get old.Is it a social behaviour to leave parents at mercy of God and also that parents for whom they are every thing.They gave us life,they gave us identity,they gave us name,they gave us everything we demanded and when they become old and we are self dependent, we get them out of our home because now it's our turn to do something for them when they are not able to race in the fast moving world.Is it the right what we do.We just try to get rid of our duty towards our parents.Is it right to forget all the things what our parents did for us?I want to know from you
