What do terrorists fight for?

I do not understand one thing. What do terrorists fight for? Why dont they like living peacefully? Atleast, I do. Dont they fear God. After all, Everyone has to face him after death. What is their problem?

according to me the only problem with them is that they are forced to fight for their land as in kasmir,assam,urisa,or jharkhand. they want their indivisual state or country. but they are of sick mantellty persons who doesn't know anything more than war.according to them the god has send them for fight and their 'aakahs'makes them heros.
