I said in a discussion yesterday that I wasn't sure what the heck the song was that Apolo did his Paso Doble to. It sounded like "Oh my darlin Clementine" to me in several spots.
Well I just watched my tape of the results show, and they were the encore dance, and I swear, I am even more convinced that the song was "Clementine." Does anyone know what the song was?
Who else agrees that the DWTS music is very strange??

That's exactly what I heard, it just had the Latin tone to it. I thought it was a neat piece of music though, and I thought the dance was ok, even though the judges didn't exactly love it. I think it was Len who said it was a little all over the place or something. I do agree, some of the music they use is strange with the dances, they don't always fit the dance, that's got to make it more difficult sometimes. I wonder if they chose the music or is it chosen for them?

Actually the song is called Carnaval De Paris by Dario G.
I do agree in parts it does sound like Clementine. You can see a list of the music used in the show on the ABC site. I agree that some of the music is definitely arranged strangely at times.
