I have not got into the IPod technology. I do not own one however my 3 adopted sons own them and they are constantly loading material on an almost daily bases. It is not that I'm afraid of them it's because I have been around long enough that 78 records and 8tracks were my medium source. Then came Lp's, reel to reels, cassette, compact disc's, digital video discs (DVD's), MP3 players, and now Ipod's. I know some fore mentioned are not recording media but I am having a tough time keeping up to technology. So I could be missing out on a good thing, what are your comments?

i wish i was..lol. i take the train everyday to work and sometimes it would be nice to listen to some music. i would love to have an ipod nano, been thinking of getting it for a looooong time, but i still have yet to do so. ipod's are very costly where i live so i cannot afford it T_T ..perhaps someday..

I am actually playing the Ipod now. so I know how to turn it on and off, play songs, change the volume but I don't how to put songs in it. That's my husband's job. I'm not very techie but I know I can learn if I sit down on it. I'm just too lazy to learn, I guess I'm a bit dependent, but if I have to I would.

I'm an iPod user yeh, since I have a lot of music which I also want to listen to when traveling iPod was the only logical choice pretty much. I know there are alternatives like zune, but it was in an too early stage still for my taste. iPod I didn't buy till generation 5 either in example.
