How Long Do You Wait Before Picking Best Answer?

I usually wait at least a week before picking a BR. As to how I choose, it varies. Sometimes someone will post something that just hits me right or seems to understand the discussion. Other times I will pick someone who has been really helpful in a reply. A humorous reply often gets my attention, if it is appropriate. I also look for a thoughtful or thought provoking answer if it is a more serious discussion. Hope this helps. Thanks for the discussion.
