Is everyone equal?

My belief is "You do the crime, you do the time". My oldest daughter has spent a few days in jail because of writing bad checks. Not on purpose, she just isn't any good at handle money or the check book. I told both my daughters and my brothers, you get into trouble with the law don't call me to bail you out. I taught you better. Her friend called me thinking I would rush down and bail her out. Nope, tough love works best. She is much better with things now and her husband handles most of the finances to keep it that way. Celebrities and Rich people are no better than anyone else. If anything they are in the spotlight and should definitely get the jail time to show the public crime will not be tolerated by anyone.
