Baby Killed by abusive father

Over a year ago a 11 week old baby was brought to Children's Hospital with 27 broken bones and a head injury. He later died from his injuries.
In typical Boulder fashion the District Attorney has drug her feet about charging these criminals. But finally they have been arrested and charged with this most horrific crime.
In Colorado this could be considered a death penalty case, I think this could very well be the one time I would agree with such a punishment.
What about you what would you do if you were on the jury?

Oh my god!!! I just read that story and I am literally crying right now. How could someone do that to their precious baby?? And then wait to get medical help. I have an 11 month baby girl and I would kill someone if they ever hurt her like that. I am just sick to my stomach right now just thinking about that baby boy. May he be in God's arms right now.

This father was not brought up in a good home, where the parents remind them of God, good and bad. A child who is brought up in such homes will not harm any living thing created by our Almighty God. He does not know the spiritual bond of life with God. He may escape man made punishment but he cannot escape the punishment from God, this baby is going to haunt him for the rest of his life and one day he will become a mad man. This is his punishment.

That is very well said. I just can't believe that God hasn't resevered a special place in you know were for these people.

That is horrible what happened to the baby. I don't wish that upon anyone. Oh the pain he must have been in and to think that the parents caused it when they are suppose to be the ones protecting it from it. I think they should rot in jail for the rest of their lives. I know that a lot of people hate child abusers so hopefully they will get what they deserve in prison. I hope that they have to suffer the same amount of pain and suffering that that poor little child that did nothing to deserve this.

On O'Reilly last night his camera man chased down the district attorney at her home. She has sat on this case for over a year. Supposedly the baby's father is well to do and has family has power in the town. This same DA screwed up several other cases. She would not speak to the reporter. O'Reilly was really stern about how outrageous this was. I was glad to see someone trying to serve justice for this poor child. These people definetly deserve what they get.

I guess that is the way it works in this town if you have money you can get away with anything. If this had been some average or low-income family you can bet that guy would be staring down the thin line a long needle right about now.
I suspected that they had money when the report last year said they had an attorney with them at the hospital. Now if that didn't scream guilty to the DA she needs to be go back to law school.
