This is an interesting question, Deltaseccc! as just today I was doing statistical analysis of my performance on Mylot.
Till date, I have 384 posts. Out of which 17 are started by myself, so leaving behind 367 posts on which I could have earned best response. Out of these 367 posts, I have participated in 82 Riddles and got 45 best responses, making them about 55%. Around 30 out of remaining 37 are still not marked with best response and I am sure that if marked I’ll be getting best response in at least 24 of them. So with all of them marked, I’ll be having around 84% best responses from them:-)
There are 285 (367-82) serious discussions that I have participated in, other than riddles and out of them at least 40 are un marked till date. I am not sure how many I can get from them, if marked. So out of remaining 245 discussions I have got 42 best responses. Making them around 17% of the total marked serious discussions. I have also lost 5,6 of best responses due to problems in Mylot.
So in total I have 87 best responses from 367 replies making them around 24%:-). Yours is a very good ratio, as while you grow, best responses will continue coming at more pace for you. I got my first best response when I had already made some 40-50 posts. So best of luck and happy posting:-)

WOW, this is impressive, not only your BR's, but the way you answer the question, I can see why you get so many best responses. You realy take time and put in effort. This is deff. the best response so far. Thanx for replying.

Thanks for your appreciation, Deltaseccc!:-) I just try to be meaningful and helpful. I mean it would be a waste of time if i can't help or add something meaningful. I believe that there are much more knowledgable and great people on Mylot, from whom I need to learn. By sharing knowledge and thoughts we can help each other understand what we don't.

As far as I know that's pretty good. It's a little better than mine at the moment, lol. I have 1060 posts and 74 best responses which is about 7%, however, the calculation isn't actually correct because you can only get a BR on your responses, not on your own discussions. The more discussions you start, the more it would actually dilute your result. It is a little easier to calculate this way though. As you get more & more accumulated in the different categories, it gets harder to tell how many of each there are. :D

Well as you said, you lost some points with that other discussion. But 3 is not so bad. There are lots of people with twice as many post as you who have none. Just try to realy give sincere and interesting comments. The Br's will come. :)

Yes I think 8% is a very good ratio for best responses. It shows that your responses are liked the members who posted the discussion.I have 35 best responses and the ratio is about 6%. So it is much less then that of yours.
I wish you all the best and hope you will continue to get best responses for your posts as they encourages us to post better and better replies.
