Yes I find it totally annoying when I don't see a price attached to an item. I always suspect that the store owner is not honest if they don't have the price tag. I wouldn't even ask for the price and I would just leave the store. I recall one experience that I went into a shoe store and started browsing, I asked the price on a pair of shoes and the owner told me a certain amount. Then when I was about to leave, there was another lady asking the price for the same pair of shoes and the owner told her a price which was cheaper! Lucky that I didn't buy, otherwise I would feel that I was riped off.

It does bother me, many stores like Wal-mart have scanners or you can find tags on the shelves. What I hate is going to flea markets and having to ask for a price. If I can't find the price, I walk on.

i regularly do a stall on my local flea market and always put a price on my stuff cause it can get quite annoying for the seller too.

Oh my gosh, I hate it! Unless I'm extremely interested in the item, I'll pass it up without finding how much it is. I usually tell my partner "it doesn't have a price tag so it must be free"! He just looks at me and laughs.

I find it really annoying when there is no price anywhere for the item I am looking to buy. I am having to count my pennies at the moment so knowing the prices is key. That is one reason I don't tend to shop at Kmart because they never have the lables right. I end up having to track down a employee, which are never found or I would have to search for a price scanner.

I agree it is always annoying not to know the price of something.
Some big stores have scanning units that let you check the price, but other times you have to go and ask and sometimes the staff get annoyed about doing that. I like to have a calculator with me so I know how much I have spent.

I agree with you, it is really annoying to not be able to find a price! If that happens to me I just take it as a sign that I don't need that perticular item =)

I don't like going into shops that don't display the price of items. I want to be able to browse and not have to ask someone every other minute "how much is this?" When I visit India this is the most annoying thing about shopping out there. They can spot a tourist a mile away and sometimes they ask for 10 times the value of the product. It annoys the hell out of me, for example, they say something is 1000 Rupees and I can bargain it down to 200 Rupees, and they're still smiling when I walk away, which means I've been cheated still. I have on occasion turned and walked away saying "Why did you say it was 800 Rupees and now you're allowing me to buy it for 100? You were blatantly trying to cheat me." I know it's their living but I work hard for my money too and don't like the idea of being cheated like this. I would rather go to stores where the price of items is labelled at least. Pretty much most stores here in the UK have stuff labelled with the price so it's much easier to go shopping!

Yes, I hate it when the price is not on the item. I'm on a tight budget as well and I need to know the prices of the items I'm intersted in buying. But some stores like wal-mart has price scanners up on some of the isle, but most of the time they are broke or I just can't get the scanner to read the code.
