As far as I know that was his last concert and he has retired from doing any more tours or putting out new albums. I think he wanted to do this before he got too old or his voice started to go. My sister went to see that concert with Elton John and Billy Joel. She said it was great. I wish I would have had the chance to go as well.

Aww, too bad. I've never seen him in concert, except those televised. I saw him on Storytellers on VH1 and thought he was amazing. He has a new single out, but I have yet to hear it. Have you?
Have you heard Alexa Ray's music yet? Recently I heard there was something going on at Myspace where people were slamming her for her looks, resembling her father rather than her model mother, Christie Brinkley. I've seen pictures of Alexa, and I think she's beautiful.
I'd also love to see Billy Joel and Alexa perform together, but I doubt that's ever going to happen. They already said it wouldn't. But who knows?

I did get to see him during the "We didn't start the fire tour" and that was awesome. I loved it. He put on a hell of performance.
I've seen pictures of Alexa and I agree she's beautiful. She got the best features from both parents. I haven't heard her sing yet though :( but I should see if I can find somewhere on line to listen to her music. I'd like to see how she sounds.

I'm sure he'll at least do some concerts in New York. He LOVES NEW YORK. So, if you're an east-coaster you're probably in luck. I know that most recently he had that broadway show where they performed his songs. Before that, he had a classical piano album. I'm not sure if he's officially throwing in the towel. He's probably writing a little something-something here and there and maybe in time he'll have another album just of stuff he's got lying around. Then maybe a tour? I hope he's not a geriatric by then.
