Post in the religious section? lol. I was reading a post and it became clear to me that they really believe they know more than others. So there is no difference, they believe in their non-belief to the point it is the religion they live by and must preach just like a believer of a religion, hahaha, pretty funny.

It is not. Having a religion implies that you have a faith in a divinity, supernatural or deity type belief system. Religion implies you have a belief system connected to spiritualism. please visit: www.athiests.org where they can explain ATHEISM is not a religion.

I have run into a couple of those and since he couldn't convince me to agree with his point of view and vice versa, I decided to agree to disagree. Some of the posters feel so strongly about not having any type of religion in this world that that is what the majority of their posts consist of. And if you happen to respond and reveal that you have faith in a religion, you'd better be prepared to be talked down to. It aggravates me to no end to have someone talk to me like a three year old because they don't agree with my beliefs. So now I just skip those posts.

Exactly! Surely if you believe in a faith you are a moron. Ha! What about Einstein? WHat about all of the other great minds that were not atheists. Believing is a choice not a sign of intelligence and it is never a sign of knowing more. If they think the way they feel about their lack of belief is any different that the way those feel about there chosen belief they would understand it is all a matter of passion and there is no proof, we are all in the same boat trying to find our own truths, we shouldn't believe our truth for us is better than anyone else's.
