How do you respond to criticism?

Some people really don't know how to get a point across, they are very hurtful and pass a stinging comment too! But there are others who offer criticism in a nice, constructive way. If someone gave you constructive criticism, how would you react? What if he said the same things in a hurtful manner but you knew that he pointed the right things? And how do you react to cheap, unconstructive criticism?

it is but natural that we get hurt into criticism.... it maybe said in a nice way thats the usual initial feeling we get hurt. but if you are an open minded kinda person criticism is healthy. but of course we just have to measure the criticism if it is real or just ti hurt us

criticism can be in right way - criticism can be in right way, just like this kind of one.
I usuall give criticism in a polite method and I think it is good for the one to accept it. sure, I also would like to accpet this kind of criticism and it will be helpful to me . I can change some of my bad habit or action . if some one give criticsism in another way, I think it is hard to accept even if I know he is right . if he is my real and good friend, I will try to accept his criticsimc. but if he is not a famaliar one, I think I will disregard his opinions .
