Can you drink flat soda?

I cannot drink flat soda. It's gross. It's not meant to be flat, and because being flat, really takes away it's flavor, soda just doesn't taste right flat. What's the point in drinking flat soda anyway? Isn't the whole point to drink something that is bubblely and has flavor?

i am with you on that one. i hate flat pop. if i open 2 liter that has been in the fridge for a couple of days, and it isnt fizzy when i unscrew the cap, i pour it down the sink. this is when i realize just how much sugar pop has in it. it drives me up the wall when i see that someone is shaking a pop, just becuase i know that they are taking all of the carbonate away from it. i can drink room temperature pop. that doesnt bother me at all, but i cant stand drinking pop with ice in it. i dont know if it is just me, but i seriously taste a difference when there is ice in the pop. when ordering out, i always ask for mine with no ice. a lot of times they still add it, so i get a fork and scoop it out. lol.

I definitely think that it is not the best tasting thing in the world. I could do without soda going flat.

Ok, I normally don't respond like this...but all I can say is: EEEEEEWWWWWWWW! I would rather drink cat pee pee!

My brother used to always love it flat and open cans of pepsi and leave it in the fridge and id grab one. I cannot STAND the taste of flat pepsi, especially if its warm. Its gross.

I cannot drink flat soda at all. It is awful.

I prefer not to drink Flat pop. It is gross- I don’t buy 2 liters very often because once you open them they go flat pretty quickly. I don’t drink warm pop at all. I like it ice cold- and I prefer it without ice cubes- they seem to water it down and make it flat also! When I don’t feel well I’ll pop open a Coke and let it sit for a bit and then drink it- Flat pop is supposed to settle your stomach! How I don’t know.

No I can't drink a flat soda either! That is really gross!! If my husband doesn't finish his drink he will always put it in the fridge (especially ones from going out to eat) so they are sitting in that crappy paper cup with the ice melting in it and he will drink it the next day!! That is too gross for me!! I can't do it, and I love sodas!!!

I actually like my soda to be somewhat flat. I frequently will open a can or bottle and let it sit in the fridge for awhile before drinking. With carbonated flavored water I will dilute it with plain water.

Oh I hate flat soda! I have had a flat or nearly flat soda before and it's just awful! I guess I'd drink it if I was dying of thirst and there was nothing else to drink. But otherwise I'd rather just avoid it.

Well, when I was a kid, we were not allowed to drink any soda. Sometimes in the morning my mom would have soda left in her glass from the night before. I would drink that before cleaning up the glass. I didn't care for it, but I thought I was getting away with something. Now I can't drink flat soda. When we open a bottle of soda and don't finish it the same day, I toss it down the sink. No more flat soda for me.
