Of the three options you have given to me i am familiar with the Windows XP and for me it is already good. I am not sure with those two operating systems but i heard they are more awesome.

Linux is strong and good in server platform Windows XP is still better in terms of user friendliness and desktop usage. And, XP will be substituted with Vista gradually.

windows os are good however its maintenance requires internet connection for software updates. well all of os actually does, macintosh and even the commercial os of linux. but whats good with linux and mac is that virus cannot easily penetrate into their systems. unlike in windows.

all are good operating systems microsoft have different features linux have multiuser features and the windows vista the graphics king so they all are good

according to user friendliness : windows xp according to security and server configuration : linux according to graphics and visual effects : vista

Most virus programs are written to infect windows os systems. I like xp since most of the programs I use are xp compatiable. What I like about Linix is that there are many open source programs that do almost as much as the programs that xp does. Linix in my opinion crashes less with less slow downs unlike xp. What I can say about Vista is that its still to early for people to jump on board and get into the vista game. There are im sure have many bugs with the software. I also heard from friends who bought new computers that some of their software does not run on vista because of its protection instilation.

I prefer LINUX. Which one is the best is a personal matter? Maybe you should add the following to include all enthusiasts. 4. MAC 5. BSD 6. SOLARIS

1) MAC OS X 2) Linux 3) Windows xP 4) Windows Vista MAC OS is the best because is both easy to use as Windows and stable as Linux. Linux is now easy to use and has a lot of advantages like it is free and virus free, stable and reliable, it has a lot of free software for all your needs and you don't have to cope with file fragmentation. The third place is windows xp and I think it is better than Vista because is now quite stable and fast, indeed Vista is too young, so it is "heavy" and has a lot of bugs.

Linux is best for security.. Windows XP is userfriendly(for general people).. I have not used VISTA yet..

so far im liking windows xp. does not cause me any trouble at all.

linux. cause i have tux on my profile.. ^_^ easy to maintain, no virus, fast for network, easy to use than windows, etc etc viva linux..

both are good. user friendliness, the graphics, the security. everyone has a choice, its up to them.

i like WINDOWS XP PRO and WINDOWS VISTA i havnt treid it yet but i awant to try it soo nas posible.
