ya man c/c++ can become a hacker but now days most of the virus and hackers use VB as activeX elements that can run without even you beenknowing them...

Of course, anyone can. In fact, a c/c++ programmer would have quite a good start as they probably have quite a bit of clue. As long as they develop themselves in the infosec direction and know their technologies sufficiently (eg. TCP/IP, how OS' work etc) then sure, why not?
