Well now a days You can have so much choices in foods if you want to dine out.American,Mexican,Chinese,Arabic,Indian,Pakistani and so on there is a long list for restaurants you can try.I have seen so many american peoples like indian or pakistani food even though it is too spicy i wonder how do they even eat it but they it seems they like it a lot.I just wanted to ask here what food do you cook I mean which culture are you originally from and which cuisine you like?and what is the reason for your liking,Is it taste, menu, price or what ?and name the specific dish that you like from that cuisine.
I belongs to Pakistan i like my cultural food too but if somebody ask me going out i would go for chinese or mexican food.I like taquitoes, tacos, chilli, burritos and in chinese i love egg roll, spicy chicken stir fried, fried rice, chow mein with lots of hot sauce. How about you peoples?

i would say first preference for your food choice should be healthy and eat only healthy things even if they doesnt taste good.taste is a sensation which dupes you ,coz one thing that taste you may not taste to others also, one thing that tastes todya may not taste tommorrow under another circimstances .so taste is a false thing.it is not a pleasure .if you are hungry what ever you get will be tasty to you.
i think each atmosphere ,each country has its own climate characteristics and nature knows what kind of food is suitable to the people in that particular area and for the living beings in that area she prepares their natural diet .i think one should first food preference should be the fruits and vegetables growing intheir area rather than going after food that belong to another area.

I agree with you.But As everyone has different choices in every other thing in life every one has their own preferences in everything in their lives so i think Food related thing is more important than anything else.Even though if you are hungry you can eat whatever is available and it will taste delicious to you but it doesn't mean that you don't have any choices. For suppose if someone goes to Italy over there italian food is common and if the person is really hungry he have to eat italian if he likes or not but what if it becomes one of his FAVORITES..I agree with the point you said here but life has too many options in every steps its us who chooses it right or wrong.Every one has its own opinion i appriciate yours too.But what menu You are choosing will be quite boring after a while.
Thanks for response.

Sorry to disagree with you, but that old saying about variety being the spice of life pertains to food also. While it is true that we should try to eat as healthily as possible, that would be so boring if it were the only choice we had. I get a taste for certain foods just like I get different moods. I don't agree that anything you eat is pleasing-not if that isn't what you really want.

I cant agree with you if you are not eating healthy things which you consider dont tasty ,which is specially given by the nature in or to maintain our health and happiness ,what you are saying is that nature is wrong and nature or god is not want us to be happy.what you consider as pleasure in food is simply slavery to food and food items ,and you are not realising that business minded people are in fact taking advantage of your taste buds and they are giving your diseases and worries in your life by taking your money .what you eat what you become .your mind and body is made up of those things what you eat .if you eat food given those businees minded people they will have added lot of things to have cravings for these foods and eventually they become addicted to them you are losing your self respect.
i cant agree with you that if you cant say natural foods are not tasty or you will get boring the health and happiness which you get by eating those foods are infact something different which you cant tell right now unless you eat for atleast 2 weeks only friuts.

I don't prefer one cuisine over another. My palette demands variety, so if I am in the mood for Japanese, or Chinese, or Mexican, or Greek, that is what I will go to.
I tried Ethiopian earlier this year, relatively spicy. They have an interesting bread that is almost like a sponge, and have a vinegary aftertaste ... I also found an Afghan establishment I frequent on occasion.
If there is any similarity between them I have a tendency toward the spicy dishes. Teriyaki doesn't cut it, guys, put some peppers in there.

Judging from my waistline, I like a little too much of every cuisine. My favorite eat-out food is Chinese, but I have slowed down on it because of MSG. I try to eat healthy salads, grilled lean meats, and baked potato most of the time. I also adore Mexican food but it is not always agreeable with my stomach.

Hmm thats a big issue for us here too who lives in foreign countries and are muslim that where we get good quality halal food so we can eat it without any hesitation. We get it here but not in that much variety.Plus we can only trust what the food maker is saying without knowing if it is really halal or not.

I have to say Italian. I LOVE Lasagna, and there's an awesome Italian/American Eatery here in Canada called East Side Mario's. Their food is a little on the expensive side, but it's so so good!
I like SOME Indian Food. Chicken Korma and Garlic Naan bread always goes down well, but I can't eat Spicy Food. I don't like Spicy food and neither does my stomach lol.
