That's a good question, I think you have to research the market and then sell what the consumer want. I think the product has to be unique to.

I was thinking about this last night, actually! I think that some people can make a living making crafts full time, but it has to be a craft that can be made quickly, in large batches. Personally, I crochet, and it is usually very slow going. I only have a few things that I can make that take less than an hour, and they are very small. So I don't think that I could make a living making crafts full time, but it is nice money to supplement my income from other sources.

Yes you can make a living selling craft's full time. you just have to pick the right product that people will want to buy. I know you can make earring's and necklace's out of wire & bead's, people like that type of craft. you just have to do some research to see what type of craft's people like to buy and see which one you think you would like to do.

I've seen a few blogs of people who seem to - like mypapercrane.com. Her stuff seems to be both crafts and art; she does shows in galleries as well as selling. I read an article about wholesaling crafts on the posiegetscosy blog. She used to own a store, selling her own and other people's crafts, now she just has one store online and I think she does some wholesaling as well. I'm really not sure how easy it is to make a living selling crafts, it seems to take a combination of things, and I think one of the things is luck.
