Vacation

I just arrived from a 2-week vacation in my hometown in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines. I met with my brothers and sisters and relatives, ate a lot as we slaughtered 5 goats, 20+ hogs, 4 roasted pigs, 2 "ubog", etc., for the barrio fiesta, 2 baptism (babies), 2 "pamisa" (prayers for our dead parents, etc. and the mother-in-law of my sister) within a period of 8 days from April 29 to May 6, 2007. I enjoyed a lot.
Have you spent your vacation? Where?

it sounds to me like you are having a family reunion. this happens to my family on the occasion of my mother's birthday towards the end of the year on the 30th day of december. it is fun to be having these occasions once in a while. it is good to know that you had such a fine time on your vacation weeks. may you have more coming into your life. best wishes.

Thanks... may we all have fine time to go on vacation. We need some relaxation sometimes and fresher air in the province.
