If you were to choose of giving up watching TV or listening to the radio: which would you choose to give up??
Honestly, if I were made to deal with this question, I'd give up listening to the radio because life would be so boring for me if I no longer have a TV. Things which you could hear from the radio could always be downloaded easily through the net but many TV shows aren't recorded through the web so I guess I'd miss more things if I'd give up the TV.
Your turn!!
Which would you give up??

Radio because I'm a visual learner so I would need the TV.
If it was iPod or TV then my decision may have been different.

Both of them is important to me but if i am given a choice to select only one than i' ll go for television as i cannot imagine living without watching television. We get news and other lesiures from both the radio and televison but comparing these two, televison has got more merits than the radio. I guess everybody will prefer watching rather than listen.

Telivision is more modern than Radio. Radio set is listening machine, while tv could also be watched. Radio is an old thing but it is still in use of our villagers, who could not get the tv signals. Radio could be listend during your work hour. If you are cooking in your kitchen or working in your work place. You can listen as well as you can work. But tv needs your full attention. Radio does not disturb the work. So I like listening on Radio so I'd give up TV.

I'd give up radio for sure! I love TV and plus, we get like 60 music channels thru our digital cable, so i'd still be able to watch it, or VH1 or MTV. So the radio wouldn't be a big loss, except for when we are in the car, but oh well, guess i'd just be listening to the kids fight instead of the radio while driving, bah!

My God ... What an intresting quwestion ... makes me think ... hmmm....
We dont have Cable at our place (Exam time) so the only solace I get is from listening to music over the radion or the music systam or the comp....
So I guess right now ... TV dosent matter much to me ... but after exms .. i'll become a couch potato.... lolz

I would give up TV. Because I can listen to radio and at the same continue my work. I can carry my transistor and enjoy listening the programs any where I go, without any cable fees or connectivity. As per the Internet, now both radio and TV channels are equally avilable internationally in the Net. The question is to opt for the TV channels. But radio channels are avilable as log in basis. But I think listening any radio program through a radio receiver is more charming than that through the Net. Anyway, I feel it more charming to enjoy a radio program through my transistor and also very often like to record it also. Thanks.

Although I seldom watch TV (if I do, I'd be watching something from cable TV) as I don't like watching with commercials which are too distracting, I'd still choose it over the radio. It's still far more entertaining than radio because we get to watch and hear shows at the same time. Radios are only handy when there is a brownout and we need to listen to news without the need for electricity. Other than that I can't think of any use for it that the TV or computer can't do.

I'd give up TV. I'm not a big fan of watching TV anymore, so I wouldn't miss it. I like listening to the radio though, especially the BBC World Service so I wouldn't be able to give that up as easily.
