I used to save and backup my files in a diskette. However, i noticed that diskettes are already unreliable nowadays. They easily get damaged especially when i used them from one computer to another. Thus, my files also get lost fast.. I resorted to CDs because they are much more sturdy when it comes to file storage, but my problem with CDs is that when i update my files in a computer which doesn't have a CD-writer.. then i cannot save it to the CD right away... So i thank God that USB flash discs were invented. Although they are a little expensive as compared to diskettes or CDs, they are much more reliable and easy to use. I can save files to it just like saving files in a diskette, plus it can save a lot more files (depending on its memory) than a diskette. It also comes in handy so wherever you go, you can just bring it... anywhere. :)

Aside from computer hard disks, I save my files in flash drives, memory cards, cd-rs, and cd roms. Diskettes are really unreliable and I think that they should already be phased-out. My A: drive just broke when I last inserted a floppy in it. Now I can't save my files in diskettes so I resorted to using flash drives often.
