How many out there remember the very funny episode where Sammy Davis Jr. kisses Archie Bunker? I saw it the other day and never laughed more.
The flaming bigot so deftly portrayed by Carroll O' Connor is truly a memorable character.
It was sad seeing Sammy Davis as the world lost a great entertainer when he died too young some 15 years ago.

I seen that episode...I have seen them all and they are still on where I live at 8 am...Awesome show. That episode is classic...Thanks for the memories

Sammy did it just right. It wouldn't have been the same with anyone else playing the role. Archie deserved it and Carroll O'Connor played that part well too. It was never one of my favorite shows, but I do remember that particular episode.
