I start to take D.O.M daily (2 table spoon before going to bed) since 2 weeks ago as I find myself tired for not sleeping enough (5 hours). Now, although I still hard to wake up (used to wake up by my wife ;p), but I find myself energetic as I rest well and won't feel asleep whole day of work. And I sleep less than 5 hours now in fact. Has anyone got similar experience as me and please share your methods.

I took Cordyceps series .. ...
After tooking it before sleep (wrong timing) .. i wake up at either
1 am and 4 am
or
2 am and 5 am ..
Now i switch to drink it at early morning 6:30 am. Then can sleep better.
According to what I know, it still varies on individual human body.
So you got to test it out to see which one suits your body, btw every night our room got burn some herbal powder.

hi just to add my two cents worth
enough sleep is very important to a person's well-being
what is enough for one maybe be excessive to another
or grossly little for yet another
so it's best to find out what is necessary for ourselves and commit to it
having not enough sleep may not show in the short-term with boosters like DOM or chicken essence
but in long term your health will show e.g. more prone to sickness, unable to fight major infections etc
in TCM, it is believed that a person's body carry out repair functions only when we are asleep and at certain times too e.g. liver is 1-3am, kidney 3-5am or something like that
for me eight hours is a must, or else my sleep debt will be so great that i'll just keep succumbing to the slightest exposure to the flu virus

Hi aplefreak, I fully agree with u that a person must sleep enough hour in order to stay healthy. However, to some ppl like me always not enough of time to do and learn something. Therefore I keep looking on a method to reduce sleep but still stay healthy. To me I want to do & learn more things when I'm yong as I will have plenty of time when I get older. ;p
Just for sharing, I read an article mentioned that with help of medicine, a person can sleep only 2 hours a day, but the medicine is still under research. If there is such medicine with no side effect, will any of you pay for it?

it has been three weeks now.
Are you still on the 2 table spoon before going to bed routine?
It takes about three weeks to get into a habit. How is your sleep pattern now? Is 5 hours of sleep good or do you still feel lethargic at certain times of the day due to the new sleep pattern?

yes I still take 2 table spoon before going to bed. I still sleep around 5 hours per weekday, 3plus am to 8plus am. No I never feel lethargic the whole day even I take less coffee. Now I'm experimenting 4 hours sleep per weekday n see whether I can survive or not ;p
But it seems no effect on boosting physical strength to do exercise like weighting, although I never expect that to happen. Just wanna share to you guys and gals.
Another potential experiment is not taking coffee and see whether still ok or not. But a bit hard for me as I used to drink coffee just for the sake of drinking n smelling nice cup of hot drink.
I feel I've more time to do things now.
OT abit, if all ppl in a country out of sudden only sleep 2 hours a day, what will be the impact to that country? growing faster? or social problem? etc...
