help im having problems with "hardware interupts"

whenever i go to use a program which uses certain hardware components eg sound card, my laptop becomes really slow and when i have a look at my processes it comes up with my interupts taking up like 60% of my cpu, is there anything causing this, i have reinstalled my sound drivers and so forth but is there anything else which people can reccomend for me to do thanx

just increase the ram and check your virtual memory if it low then increase it also

boot u r pc in safe mode,defragment ur hardsk,dowmload the latest diect x version,and audio n graphic drivers.run the antivirus program.
