Paris Hilton once said, "“The way I see it, you should live everyday like its your birthday”. I suppose that includes the day you check into jail. Although she was only sentenced for 45 days, I was impressed with the judge that did not put her above the law.
Of course Paris Hilton does not see it that way, as she attempts to get the liberal Governor to wave his hand of pardon. Attempts to gain support on the internet have stirred up an equal interest in seeing the sentence stick.
What do you think about this? Do you agree with Paris Hilton that the expired license was really the fault of her manager?

I totally agree with the judges decision. I think it's about time that little girl be held accountable for her actions. Too many "stars" are getting out of trouble just because of who they are. If it was just some female off the street, would there be any question as to whether or not they should go to jail?? No!
Miss Hilton needs to just take her sentence and deal with it. She needs to quit passing the buck onto those around her and except her fate. I think she'd find out that more people would have a higher opinion of her if she did.

I completely agree with you! "Daddy's money" has bought her out of too many situations. She needs to be taught a lesson and serve time like the "average Joe". She thinks that she is above the law and continues to break it because she knows that she will get off with a slap on the wrist. I really hope that she does some jail time for this one.

and so she should be, she has gotten away with too much already, if anything the sentence is not long enough. she is just another person and the average joe would have recieved a much longer sentence than what she got. all she is, is a spoilt brat who doesnt do anything for anyone but herself. theres much more i could say about her but that would involve obscene language lol

It just seems to be a heavy sentance for a small admin error. I mean did she kill someone? Does an expired licence mean that suddenly she is incapable of driving all of a sudden and a danger to society? Please!
Anyway, rules are rules, stupid rules though they may be, so she gets banged up.
What amazes me is the vitriolic way people here have been lashing out at her on myLot. Not very humane.
