I find visual basic a very playful way to develop application.You just have to pick and choose the controls you want to include in your form.
It is just like building an avatar for yourself where you have choices to select accessories and backgrounds.
I personally don't feel that any other front end can be as interactive and concise as VB.I t is used in most of the commercial applications that we see on web and other operating systems.
