Will you be taking a holiday this summer? is it something you always do in the summer or do you take any breaks during the year at all. I find the summer is great for going abroad or to the countryside or beach and always try to go usually i go away for a few days during the year as i like to travel and find it more interesting than just staying at home all the time i find i can even save money like this plus meet lots of interesting people and see new things. this year ill probably be going somewhere in europe again maybe spain as it is a great fun holiday place with lots of interesting cities and nightlife and culture and it can be very cheap to do this What will you be doing this summer? Where will you be going? or do you just prefer to stay where you are?

It is exciting to have such a trip. I used to travel a lot before the birht of my daughter. With the kids, it is in some degreee harder have such trip. my daughter prefer to play at playground or beach for a whole day, not walking for a long time, she can approximately walk for around 30 mins at most. I have to find another way to relex now. :)

My summer vacation won't be on the beach, although I absolutely love just basking in the summer sun with a good book in hand. I have just gone down to the river last weekend but unfortunately, it started to rain so the water's cold. I'll try again in a few weeks.
I am slated to go to New York in June and I am so excited about it. This will be my first time. I am hoping for a really wonderful time and go home with lots of pictures and souvenirs. I can't wait!

My partner and I will probably have two breaks this year. We usually go camping so it is a cheap holiday for us and we chuck everything into the back of the car and just go. We plan on going to Cornwall in the West Country of England and also stop in Glastonbury and at Avebury for the Summer Solstice. We also plan to go to Whitby in North Yorkshire for the Goth Festival at the end of October.

Nope, we prefer not to stay where we are, when it comes to summer holiday we always try to visit other countries. Kinda nice to experience other culture, language, surrounding, etc. Ant this year my family been planning on to spend our summer holiday to visit my homeland to see my dad, sisters and other families. My husband probably can only stay for 3 weeks but me and my daughter will stay for about 2 months....aaaahhhh, can't wait......

We do a lot of things in the summer but usually we will only camp in the summer time and only on the weekends.
Instead of vacationing in the summer we prefer to go in the winter as it gets quite cold here in Canada. Heading to Florida in the middle of winter just seems to make the winter seem shorter. When we return there is usually only a few weeks of winter left. I like it.

We usually try to take a break during the year. Usually we'd go around Easter, but with the financial situation this year, we decided to wait until School is out for the Summer, and head on up North a little way to go visit with our friend up there.
She has a son who turns 3 this month, and my daughter absolutely adores him. My boys play rough and tumble with him and it all gets rowdy and noisy and chaotic, but boy do they sleep well!
My kids love going to visit. The journey does take 8 hours, but that takes into account food stops and toilet stops, as well as pit stops for caffeine lol.

I dream about going somewhere. I drool over cruises and long for the mountains. I will try to get a day away at the beach soon, maybe. But my current circumstances won't allow me to go away more than a day, so guess I'll be home this summer. I envy you going to Spain or anywhere in Europe. I love it there.

Can't wait for school to end. Summer is the best season of the year. I have a lot of things planned out before me. A couple of trips around Europe and an amazing vaction where I can lay down on some beach and just listen to the waves. :) I guess it's a good break from all the stress that has heaped up throughout the year. Just can't wait! :)

We don't always go on vacation in the summer, but we usually take at least one longer vacation and a few shorter vacations each year. Mostly, it depends on how much vacation time I will have at work.
My vacations in recent years have been to Seattle, with shorter trips to St. Louis, Chicago, and Atlanta.
