I am a 16yr old guy who just finished my 10 years of school through distance education from australia. I am working as a baker at a hotel in the mountains. for me to enter university i need to do 2 more years of school. My sister is just finishing her last of her 12 years, then she goes off to university. I feel there is a lot of pressure for me to go to unversity, all my relatives want me to go to uni, but i can't because i feel there is no use, what should i do, should i attempt to go to uni or continue working at this hotel which i really enjoy?

to be honest going to college is a great experience but then again it is not for everyone - just remember that - also it is your life - you do what makes you happy - you are obviously making money working which is great - stay with what you love - finish school through the 12th grade then see where you want to be at - perhaps in those two years you will have found another interest- people and the mind change as do our interstest. Perhaps you will want to go - but for now do not worry about going to a university or working somewhere else - enjoy now and do not let others tell you what you should do for a living - follow your heart - life is too short- and people need to support whatever you choose to do. Good luck my friend
