Mother's Day

Well my mother passed away many years ago, and my mother inlaw is going into the hospital today for surgery , she has a spot on her lung. We are all hoping that it is not cancer but she will be in the hospital for a week. So I guess we will be spending mothers day at the hospital this year.

i'm still not used to celebrate mothers day. know it for a long time ago, but still never try to celebrate it. all i do is just pray for her to have the best. on other though, i plan to give her some gift. still thinking what it would be

My mother is deceased. However, my mother-in-law is coming over to our house for brunch. My 27 year old daughter is going to make brunch for my wife and for grandma. There will be a few gifts and cards. It will be fun!

I just shared the day with her. Mothers day passed awhile back here and back then I got her a few plants and generally things along those lines. I do thinks showing her I care is more important though ~Joey

Probably stay at home and enjoy being with my family. I will call my mother and tell her Happy Mother's day .

i will be callig her and sending her some gift as i will not be there with her

I am planning on buying my mom a shelf. I was at her house a week ago and she mentioned she need one. I am also packing her a gift basket with goodies.

I think I am going to have lunch out with my mother and my younger sister. I already got her mother's day present early. it was a clock of her favorite contry singer's . She loves it.

they say god made us but even he needed a mother to be born so i feel if we ever need to put anyone on the pedestal its not god its our mother by being kind and considerate to her needs giving unconditionally and never asking for accounts ,beind there whenever she needs you not only on mothers day but all through her life,

This will be a first for me too. I am seeing my Mother & giving her a present & card. But we are not going out to lunch together. My mother can't eat most foods the restuarant supplies, & she only likes cheap places, so we are going out to celebrate Mothers Day for me, fopr once. We were invited to go out fopr luncjh for my Mothe-in-Law, but my husband won't go as one of his sistyers will be thee, & he hates her.

I hope you don't feel too bad about that. Your mom knows you love her. Some people can't or don't see their mother for years, so she knows you are honoring her. I'll be with my mother for Mother's Day this year. Last year, I wasn't, and I didn't like that. But this year I'll be with her and then we are going on a mini vacation with my dad too. It will be so nice to rest, relax, and visit.

I have not seen my mother in about 4 years. We didn't have a falling out or anything like that. We just live thousands of miles apart and both have very busy schedules. We try to talk on the phone every weekend and send emails to each other often. So this Mother's Day will be like the rest - She'll get a card from me and a phone call wishing her a Happy Mother's Day and we'll probably talk about the silly things that happened when I was growing up and other memories. I wish that I could be with her, but it's just not possible this year.

We're planning to go out to the roomie's folks on Sat to spend time with her mother & then I'll go over to mom's & meet my bro & have dinner with them.

I've bought cards and gifts. The cards are all going in the mail today and we will see the three mothers and grandmothers we have in town over the weekend to give them gifts. I also got a card for my sister in law who celebrates her first mother's day this year. All in all it should be pretty low-key and (hopefully) restful, since I am a mother too and want to enjoy my own mother's day!

Mothers day was a few monthes back here. We were not able to spend the day with our mothers but we sendt flowers.
