Edge shocked the world

When I first heard that the Undertaker had a severe injury, I thought that the logical replacement would have either been Mr. Kennedy (MITB winner) or Batista. However, with Mr. Kennedy also dealing with an injury, the news leaked that the WWE would be dropping the title to Batista. So this was the WWE's version of throwing a curveball. They wanted to make sure that the story stayed somewhat current. With all the injuries (Triple H, Undertake, Mr. Kennedy) along with the minor bumps and bruises, the WWE was wearing thin on Superstars to spread out in different promotions. This is why they moved Edge to Smackdown... hell, I wouldn't be surprised if another big name or mid-level talent (such as Carlito or Randy Orton) we're on their way to ECW or Smackdown to balance the talent across the board.

I hope the animal gets the title from edge. i never liked edge then, and i never liked him now. i would prefer RKO doing all those things edge has been doing the past few weeks. grabbing tghe MIB from kennedy and cashing in on the undertaker.It would have been a better plot, and would renew the feud with Batista come judgment day that started from the disbandment of evolution.

I am shocked as well, I thought that Underaker would have a lojng run, but he had injuries. Edge will do better on Smackdown than on Raw but, there is better competiton in Batista, Undertkaer and many others with Smackdown. There is harder competition for him therefore, he may not have the title long although, will benefit his championshipo records.
