I tend to write from a very personal point of view. But I think that is hurting me trying to get published on AC. I think my best writing is from that point of view. Is that a bad habit? Should I go with it? Are there sites for writers that encouarge that and I would be more in tune with the? I just joined Helium and I think I will have the same problem. I am new to this and learning. I would welcome advice. Have you written a blog on this site? What are your thoughts. Would that be a better venue for me?

I think that writing more personal entries works much better at Helium. There are a pile of topics, especially in dating and parenting categories, that specifically request personal stories. Many of these have "Testimonials" or something like that in the title. At AC, it seems that things are more formal if you want to get paid. You can see my articles there at http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/53389/legbamel.html - I do some topics about which I feel very strongly, but I try to at least be fair in pushing my point of view! There are some sub-topics that are more personal, but most of them should be more objective.
