Would you go if there was a draft? What about your children?

Mandatory draft..no way in HELL. Not in this war either. I don't care what they say, if they're servants of the people and no getting enough soldiers..then they should say they're not getting enough soldiers and if they still don' get them after that. Well, then America has spoken hasn't she? We should be allowed to endanger ourselves, if such is really the case. I don't support the murder of our freedoms, which includes stuff done in our own country. The Draft represents one more freedom gone, freedom of choice in the military. So, they could declare me a fugitive if they'd like. But no. I won't do it. Since I don't ave children..I feel glad, I mean, they're lucky not to live in this current part of our history. Since the Draft was considered THIS year. Yeah, it was shot down..but now people are actually calling for the Draft to be reinstated. Which is INSANE..I guess it says something about the current state of our people.

I'm retired military, so it would take an act of congress of a different sort to get me in uniform... a recall. ;~D

i don't think i would go...i mean, i'm not the best person to be serving and of course my children aren't even in school yet. i got scared because my husband was in the bracket of getting drafted if they did pull one of those out...but he explained to me that he couldn't make it in the military either since he has a bad knee and of course he's not in perfect health either.
