What houseohld items does you cat like to play with?

Hi hezoid my cats like to play with the ties off the bread bags.LOL And they have so many toys. When you walk into my house you see toys all over the floor. They also like empty boxes. And yes I have one box I cant throw out they love it. So that is sitting in my livingroom too. If Im expecting company I have go around a pick everything up. They also have scratching post about 3 or 4 of them around.LOL

Well I think they all tend to prefer the silly household items to bought toys - same as kids often prefer to play with the cardboard boxes instead of the expensive toy inside! My Wilby loves this emery board thing I use to do my nails, Sasha always used to play with pieces of string when he was younger (not so much now he is old - he prefers to sleep - LOL!), and Frodo plays with an old cotton reel! I love to watch my cats play - they always make me laugh.

My cats are they same they have lots of brought toys, but will prefer to play with stuff around the house, their favourites are plastic bags, empty boxes, balls of paper and tin foil. One has a cotton reel he loves to play with and also they will climb up the sideboard to knock off the box of matches I keep up there for candles!! They love the sound of the matches rattling inside the box.

Our cat used to play with socks and plastic bags, she would play with them for hours. It was kinda weird, but it kept her busy. After she had her first litter of kittens she started playing with regular cat toys again, but still kept a sock and a plastic bag close.

My cat likes to play with fur toys and toys which looks like rats so she can tear them when ever she wants.When she does this she feels very happy as she thinks that she is tearing a mouse or a rat.Mine cats name is "Mariya".She is a white and grey colour cat same like her enemies rats and mouse.

my cats love rolls of paper regardless it's toilet paper roll or kitchen towel roll they can have fun the whole day with it but if they get their paws on one when we are not around we'll be greeted by the sight of 'snow flakes' all over the floor :)

As I read through all the response about what the favorite cat toy is it would seem that all the cat like the seals from carton or milk bottles. I try to keep a good supply of them for our Jarrath as she likes to play fetch with them sometimes and she also likes to hide them under the furniture and pretty soon looses them. She also like to get up close and personal with shoes or flip flops. She likes to play with the pictures on the pages of magazines. The paper bag is another one she likes to hide in. She likes to find the smallest box she can fit inot to sleep too. I was talking to my daughter about cats and their toys. She said her cat likes to hide the milk rings and such in her shoes. Cats are so much fun.

My cat loves to play with bottle caps - the plastic kind... like coke bottle lids or hairspray bottle toppers. She also loves to play with the cord to my cell phone and my ipod wires.

My cats love what your cats love. Get a piece of string and attach an empty thread spool (so they wont eat the string) and you have a forever toy!. My ebay packages that come in the mail get used for days on end and a homemade sack/[p;;pw filled with organic catnip keepsa them fighting each other. But my husband LOVES getting them hyper with a lazer pen across the floor in the dark!!

Each one of my 7 inside cats has a different toy preference. Prance, my white/tan female is in love with Q-tips. I will find them in all sorts of odd places in the house. She won't chew the cotton pieces off, or even the stick part. She just loves to bat them around. My big black cat, Midnight, has stolen almost every single one of my hair bands. He is very good at hiding them, and it takes me forever to search them out. A favorite toy of all of my cats is the infamous plastic ring from the milk jug. They argue over them all of the time. LOL

my cat likes to play with the tv remote lol and sometimes the at takes off all of the pillowsfrom the couch.

Lol, what DOESN'T my cat like playing with. My partner bought me a boxed gift set the other day. As I was untying the ribbon on the box, it dangled down and was attacked by the cat before I even got it off the box. She loves Coke Can boxes, and has managed to get one stuck on her head before. I howled with laughter before going to her terrified rescue LOL. Rolled up bits of tin foil are amusing balls and skid nicely along the kitchen lino for chasing. Also, toilet roll holders are amusing for her too. Beware if she sees you using a pen. She likes to jump up beside you and bat at the end of the pen. You'd be astounded at the number of notes and letters I've had to rewrite at the hands (or should that be paws) of my cat.

let's see.. kleenex boxes are a big fave.. boxes,paper bags and milk rings..hair scrunchies,toilet paper rolls..newspapers for sliding on..cotton balls,socks,thread spools.. basically anything but the toys i bought them LOL

My cat rufuses to play with the shop bought toys.lol.She likes newspapers more than any other household items in the house.She likes tearing the newspapers into pieces and what's more,she likes the latest newspapers best.I don't know how can she recognize newspapers but she is smart and she knows where is the latest newspapers.She can find it quickly--wherever the newspaper is on the sofa,in my drawer or still in my papa's hand.My cat can find it and tears it into pieces quickly.

i have an old cardigan that my cat loves to sleep on. We put it down for him he just loves to sleep on it and although its in holes now i just cant throw it away, its his bed blessed be

not sure if it classifies as household items but....... she likes to play with mice and if there are none to be found at the moment she will settle for my hair.

yes, my cat loves to play with the grocery bags. We can not even get the groceries out before she is ready to jump right into it!! she will even let you carry her around in it. She also loves to play with the little plactic things that hold tags on clothes. It is pretty funny because it looks like she is playing with absolutly nothing at all. It seems like she is just swating at thin air.
