I think so. People from different cultures, different interests... Why not? They'll get curious about each other culture, and get fascinated by it. Then, love appears. I think that there is a great possibility of this happening. Why not?

Yes, I think two people with different backgrounds can fall in love. I am a Filipina and my fiance is an American. We were raised very differently. My fiance was raised with a culture and a set of values that are different from mine. However, we get along very well. We are very happy together. He has actually made the adjustments for my sake, since he decided to spend his life with me here in the Philippines. I believe that if two people love each other very much, they are both open and willing to adjust for the sake of their loved one. Because of this, I also have made many changes in my life for him.

I moved away from in insulated indian community into a community that doesn't share any of my morals or values. It's possible to make it work if you both are willing to accept each other the way you are. You have to remember that your point of view and outlook on the world isn't necessarily shared by your partner. It takes a lot of discussion and compromise but if you love each other you make it priority. Alike is good, differences are good, it's all what you make it and your commitment to each other.
