I just heard about a young boy named Shane who lives in Ontario, Canada, and is battling lymphoblastic leukemia. His wish for his 8th birthday on May 30th is to beat the world's record for the most birthday cards ever received. This is such an easy thing to do to give a little joy and make Shane happy as he endures treatment!
Go to the following website for his story and address: http://www.shaneswish.com/index.php
You can watch a video of Shane and his wish on Youtube.com: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXz6UJL5oDA
Please pass this on to other family and friends! He currently has over 125,000 + cards already and has 19 days to go til his birthday
This is real because a close friend of mine that does a dollar ministry also does a card ministry spoke to a lady that lost her son, that shared a room with Shane. Check out the website and his video and see for yourself.

I've heard about Shane from a friend but I think it's great that you posted it on Mylot. Mylot has a bunch of members. I hope some will see this and send him a card. It will only take a few dollars to make a little boys wish come through. Once again, thanks for posting this. I don't know why I didn't think of it.

THanks for posting the link to his site. I've got a card in the mail and on it's way to Shane now.
Just a reminder if you're mailing a card from the US (Shane is in Canada) the postage rate is 63 cents according to the USPS website (see link below).
