Have you ever been to a psychic/fortune teller/palm reader?

If not, would you? Several years ago, I went to a psychic. No particular reason, I just had about 2 hours and $20 and nothing better to do. I am not sure I really believed I would hear anything that would convince me beyond a doubt that she could tell my fortune, but there was one part of the reading that really took me by surprise and convinced me that this was slightly more real than I had once thought. She did not come into physical contact with me at all, all she had was a personal item, a ring I have had and worn since junior high. The part of the conversation that was truly amazing, she talked about something that very few if any other people I actually know would know about. Not even my mother knew about it. But she spoke of it at length. What do you think?

I have not been to any psychic and would like to try but dunno where. Anyway, in my country, it is more common for us to visit fortune tellers. Maybe psychics are good. I remembered that last time when I was studying, my friend's mum was a psychic but she only sees people that has the fate to see her. She travels round the globe to see fortunes for people so even if you want to meet up with her its not easy.

Yeah, I have been to one out of curiosity and it did turn out to be with a very funny ending. I had a very close friend who happened to be intelligent enough to understand that these fortune telling is just to help a few people earn their living. This guy one day told me that he has gone to one place where they had told his story as it has happened... and to add to it they have even told him his parents name without he giving them their names. So, out of cuiosity, I decided I will give it atry. I went on this Journey along with my friends which has a bunch of both believers and non-believers. We went there and were allocated seperate rooms. A Guy came and opened holy scriptures (thats what he told me they were). He started opening each page, and told me to answer just YES or NO to his Questions. He then started saying your father name starts with A, Da, Ga, Ma etc.... Like that for every page he started saying a few syllables. After a few Yes and No from me for various parts of the name he asked me... through the yes and no I told him he made out my parents name and he went out for a few min. Then he came with a few more scriptures and showed me the actual names of my dad and Mom. I wasnt surprised at this mockery and let it pass on. After that I altered my answers to his Questions and brought out a story of my future from him. I realised that these guys can easily cheat the Illetrates as I saw one woman very happily listening her story in my side cubicle. After this experience and paying a big amount for this stupid story I decided I would never try such things even out of curiosity.

i went to one, it was a woman who just did it part time out of her house. she had explained that she gets confused and will sometimes say things that have allready happened. i didn't know her and she did say a lot of things that allready happened but a lot of things she said came true afterwards. she also read people's eyes. she'd look at your photo's of family and friends and tell you things about them. i brought a photo of my grandparents. she told me that my grandfather was diabetic and my grandmother had bad arthritis and would get worse. these things were true. then with the pictures of my parents she kept asking what is the problem with you and parents, she knew i didn't get along with any of them. also she had told me that my ex and i were going to have two more flings after we broke up, that was something that had allready happened. we broke up but got back together twice for a few weeks. then she said other things about people i was going to meet and date and she told me who they were and that came true and when i was going to be with them and so on. so i really beleive in this woman. i do also beleive though that there are a lot of fakes out there. my friend that was with me had been there twice. the lady 2 years before my friends second visit had said her dad would be in and out of the hospital with a bad illness and he ended up with cancer and was in and out of the hospital all the time and she had said her sister in law would have problems with her stomach. which came true a little wile later. can't remember what it was that was wrong exactly but i know she still has problems.
