Pregnant women make my biological clock tick.

It's true. It's an odd thing really. My sister is pregnant and she's showing now and they know it's going to be a boy. And now I really wish I had a man to marry and have kids with. I'm jealous really. And it's odd because in the past I liked kids but never really wanted to have any because they are so much work and I don't want to go through the pregnancy but now I look forward to it.

I'm 25 and at this point I have more friends that ARE married and starting families than those who AREN'T (yet). One of my good friends is pregnant, and I'm a little jealous because she has the most ideal husband, and they are very happy. I'm not ready to have kids yet, not because I feel irresponsible, but because I want to finish grad school, and I have not met the right person yet.
Both my (younger) sisters are close to being engaged. I'm going to be the oldest, AND last to marry. I try to not let it bother me.

Yeah, it really does seem like EVERYONE is getting married right now. I know of a lot of people having babies too. It doesn't help that the guy I like lives in Kansas while I live in California either. I suppose I'm in no hurry since I'm only 21; it's just seeing everyone so happy with husbands and kids makes me want it too. And not later, right now.
