We finally have benefits, so this week was dental week for my son and I. Unfortunately, my son had cavities and had to have them filled. It was a bad ordeal but he got through it. I need work too...next week and now I am dreading it. I don't want to go through what he went through. My question is do you go to the dentist regularly or try to avoid it. Do you dread going to the dentist?

I don't mind so much going to the dentist, it is that I don't have insurance or money to regularly spend going. I have had a few cavities and never had any trouble with having them filled. I think you will do ok. Methods are so modern these days that the pain factor has been drastically reduced. That is my opinion, but it is based on my experiences that have been good.

Going to dentist is really a big ordeal, when the pain in teeth becomes unbearable then only I visit him and meeting him once I keep the prescription and keep repeating the medicines afterwards. That way I keep him avoiding more than two or three years.

My grandaughter had her first experience with the dentist this week, she was put to sleep to fill som cavaties, she did fine but she was so scared I felt so bad for her,but she had a couple cavaties that were in her baby teeth. We try to go to the dentist regularly but I think good dential hygeyne is the best prevention although it is sometimes tuff to get the children to brush often and properly.
