Is is possible to get small plants online for mother's day?

My mother does not have a lot of space for plants but loves such. I have been searching the internet for small plants like African violets or mini roses; single simple pots of plant to order online and ship to her as a mothers day gift.
Can you believe I cannot find one single florist with simplicity. Everybody has these elaborate arrangements or have a teddy bear hugging two pots.
My mom does not care much for stuff animals so waste of time sending her a teddy and she will only like one of a kind of plant.
Are there websites with simple plants that will ship to New York?

Yes it is possible. You can go to www.burpee.com or search for such web sites. But in some states of USA shipment is not made.
