Sorry I've been absent.... Out of Town Company

Hey crew sorry I have been a non-participant of late. We've had out of town guests and it's hard to say "Hey nice to see you I need to go see my friends on MYLOT"...LOL.
So happy to see them, they are wonderful friends but when I am working these kind of hours it's hard to come home after a 10-12 hr day, cook, or clean up or even go out to dinner and then play Poker (His favorite past time) til 10PM then get some sleep and face the next day. God I am getting old. LOL.
But anyway....... how do you feel when you have out of town company come for a week?

LOL- NO it's a married couple. Very dear friends of my Husbands. He's known them about 20 yrs. He's only known me 4.5 years. The man is in very ill health so it's always nice to spend time with them not knowing how much time he has. But I hear you on the "ME" time. They just left and it was a 12 hour day at work picked up a bag of Tacos's from Taco Bell, came in mixed a toddy for the body, had a couple of tacos and we played poker for a bit. Now here it almost 11PM and I am too pooped to MYLOT! LOL not fair!
I will return tomorrow when I've had a bit of rest.

I think I feel like you matlgal; we love to see our friends from out of town and catch up on news, etc., but I have to admit that I am glad when they leave! It's hard to entertain guests when you have to go out to work, cook, clean, etc., and you feel obligated to stay up with them at night talking, etc., so it puts all your routine out. Think I must be getting old too! It takes me a week to catch up on everything, especially emails, MyLot, etc.lol!

Oh good it's not just me then. I feel guilty for feeling that way but gosh I am such a creature of habit I guess I just want to come in, have a bite to eat, get comfy and MYLOT and watch TV at night during the week. I am sure I will miss them when they have to leave Sunday but..... it will be nice to get back to normal.
