Has anybody used the highest strength of Crest White Strips?

I am currently wearing them in my mouth. I want to whiten my teeth because I am getting the porclain crowns on my two front teeth replaced. I couldn't afford to have them proffessionally bleached by the dentis because the crowns are already over a thousand dollars. Do the sixty dollar a pack Crest White Strips Supreme work?

I tried to use them but they seriously affected my gums. After about 3 treatments I realized that my gums were really starting to ache. There was actually a bit of visible damage done to them as well. They really started to hurt so I stopped using them. I have really healthy teeth, so I dont really know what caused that to happen.

There is a warning in the instruction amnual that this can occur.

I do hope this does not happen to me, but I have big teeth like Austin Powers (I'm English and horsey) so hopefully my gums will be ok. lol.
