I love all art. I have tried everything. I am a professional arist. I worked at Walt Disney World as a silhouette artist. Look at my profile. That is a rare and lost art. I also do a lot of watercolor paintings. I have work in galleries, and on line.

I'm addicted to mixed media art and tend to create:
* altered books
* art journal pages
* mixed media paintings
* collages
* altered objects (altering rocks have been a lot of fun lately)
* gift books
* ATCs
* greeting cards
* handmade books

Good call on the primsa colored pencils, they are the best! I also like to use graphite pencils, charcoal, and regular pencils (HB, 8B, etc)
But I have moved on to the medium of photography. I shoot Fine Art with film and use digital for documentation.
I also used to paint quite a bit and wouldn't mind getting into that again, but not water color! I am horrible at watercolor. I usually am most fond of acrylics. Oh, I like making marker art too. But that might just be the fumes. hehe

I completely missed out on saying what I came here to say to start with (that's what the subject of art does).
Besides sketching and painting, i write (if you can call it poetry), sing (essentially Indian music) and am a percussionist (play instruments like Tabala, Dholak and Congos)

If what I create can be classified as art, then I create monochromatic art.
Be it sketching with pencil or acrylic painting, all my creations, save a few have a single-colour approach to them. My profile has some of my work there, for those who would like to see and comment on it. I like to watch and study art, draw my own meanings from what I see and just lose myself to art, irrespective of when or where I see it....dangerous I know :-)

I like working with oil paints. They are very good for blending and you're able to work with them for days before they dry. I do surreal and comic book character paintings in a very realistic style. See my work at my blog at http://myartquest.blogspot.com

My thing is cinema, but I have tryed to do any kind of art, I think this is a good way to improuve your own art. So I have made drawings with graphite, painting, computer graphics, a little of music, some dance (very bad) and some writings...
