I don't think that is a good job for everyone. It pays OK, but I don't see big promotion or perspective on this job. In addition, people are under big pressure when doing this job.
Just for money, it's OK!

Hi dear, well it all depends on each person how you handle a particular job,it pays fine but sincere people do get promotion that is after a long period or other ways are also there to get promotion even if you are not that capable i am sure you must be aware of it right, and as far as pressure is concerned so far i am not under any pressure i thank God and touchwood.

Well Jayant i do agree with you, fluent English is a must if you want to work in a call center and also nowadays mostly people in the age groups of 40-50 and married are very much educated so they can earn a living for their family

Yeah, I must admit that call center jobs are booming in my country. I think it's the job choice of most students out of college because the pay rate is SO unbelievably high. I was tempted to shift careers to call center because I really wanted to earn fast but I don't want my degree to go down the drain.

The main reason why I worked in a call center is because of money. Ive been with my company for almost 3 years and they took care of me unlike other fields. However, unlike other people perception that call center is very easy then they are wrong. You need talent, communication skills and knowledge to beome the best in this field. Dont think of it as a passing job rather a carrer if a person wanted to succeed in this line op business

that's what you think? working in a call center is a hardwork. agents do have to maintain grades, attendance and talk time. most people think working in the call center is easy, just talking to people and helping them. before you know about the account, you do have to undergo training. and some while training are being cut off because they failed the required grade or attendance.
when working in a call center, it is a number one rule: DON'T GET SICK!!! how would you not get sick if you don't sleep at night and can't get some sleep at home because it is too hot. then you have to report to work that night again. think about it....

People have different reason why they are joining a call center..most probably because of the big money if you get the job.some people wants to enchance their communication and english skills so that it will help them to talk more and be confident as well.but you know its really good to work in a call center but the only disadvantage of it is your working at night..
