take care man! just enjoy the song, it'll just make life harder to look for the meaning of the song unless its so important.

yes, of course. when I like it soooo much, I search for its lyric and try to understand. but mostly I just enjoy its melody.

oh yesss,i enjoy music no matter where it's come from.after listen forawhile i end up sing it over and over again without knowing the meaning of the lyrics :))that's one of my trigger why i learn new language.i heard some beautiful dutch songs and i ended up applied to a dutch language course in the next day,lol.i like japanese songs at this moment.

For me it varies each time. Sometimes I enjoy it, cos the melody is good. Other times I really don't understand what's going on and that annoys me!
At one point, I really enjoyed Korean songs even though I'm not Korean. that's cos I watched Korean drama serials and they were really addictive. And each serial has at least one theme song. One at the start and one at the end. So I got to really like some of those.
I know a friend who can karaoke songs that are in a language that she doesn't understand. Just a matter of memorising the words I guess!
Guess for me usually the melody is the most important. Then if I understand the lyrics it makes understanding and appreciating the entire song so much better.

if i don't enjoy the foreign song, i just switch to another station. i've never memorize any song for k'oke. just couldn't.
