Why WOMENS are more ACTIVE in MYLOT than MEN....

I think it's because the nature of women themselves. Women love to express their feeling. Men are not like that. For men, actions are more important than just talk :) If men had issues, they just go ahead find a way to solve it. Not to share it with their friends. Man are from Mars you know :)

It is a little known fact that women tend to speak or have to speak or give at least 2000 more words per day than men. It is not that men are NOT active as I have seen many male mylotters on this site, but I would not be able to tell you what the percentage is. I think that sometimes women can provide more emotional detail and make it more dramatic than maybe a man can...I don't really know.

In my opinion, 1. There are more ladies than gents among the active members of myLot. 2. Ladies are more sincere in the work they do. It is so in myLot also. 3. The anonymity in myLot tends them to discuss more intimate issues openly. 4. They manage to find more time to spend in myLot. 5. They want more extra money. Thank you.

I think this mylot is more useful for housewife`s.They will be having more time so they can use any time.Men will be at work they can`t use mylot[some will use].Ya i know that discussios made by the women are more sreioua and tenderly..........you are woman you should be knowing that.......

My thoughts on this are that I think women are more open, used to talking about a lots of varying topics, and can more easily put their thoughts into words. I know myself that there are times where I will think to put something in discussion and then not really know how to word it right, so in the end I don't bother.

good topic,i think most of the women are at home,and loneliness hunts,and is the nature of women cant stay away from expressing her thoughts,discussions,and may be women get more free time,

I think that by nature most women are just more open and talk more. I'm sure men will agree.. lol. I also think that many women are now staying home during the day and therefore getting more time to do things such as MyLot. The number of stay at home moms has sky rocketed. But I love to see both sides and opinions here at MyLot, men and women.

I feel it may be due to the fact that in many households it's the woman that stays home. As far as them being more serious in their discussions I think it's womans nature to be more serious,sensitive and vocal is all. Thats my oputlook on this. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I agree it does seem like there are more women then men in here to me also in here. I have very few guy friends that are hardly here everyday.

what a good observation. i never noticed that, LOL. well, probably because women think a lot of day to day and life and all. women has got lots of questions in mind. having said that, i've got a friend here in my lot who is a male, who starts sensible discussions. so we are all making this mylot a success.

yes, i guess women are more expressive than man. they can easily suggest, commments and let their self come out because they are much emotional and sensitive. On the other hand, man is direct to the point and don't explain the whole details.

Is because the women don't stop of to talk lol. Speaking in serious it is so that they like to express themselves a lot more that the men.

Interesting topic aliyaa. I really do not know why is it that way. But I can make wild guesses based on some facts. Its the men basically who do business and go out for jobs. Most women stay home and do household. When they are done with their household work and get free then they tend to come to net and express themselves to kill the boredom I believe, and same here on myLot. The fact remains the fact that women are more expressive, emotional. They can express a same thing in thousand different ways. Men are lesser expressive except for when they are flirting :) May be I am wrong, I do not know.

Hehe, we are more talkative and sharing. The men`s nature is "more action, less words". This is ideal place for women.

Hi Aliyaa, Yes woman are more active than men in mylot, probably woman have more time then men and the men normally work outside the home and the woman also try to earn some money here so as to help their husbands like I do. Woman can normally relate more to these topics and ideas.

The second part of the discussion I agree with you. Some of the discussions women start are related to life issues. But just because you see a lot of avatar of womens doesn't mean that the person behind the avatar is a woman. Some are just a away to call attention.

I too noticed the same thing, but I am rather used to the men in my life not really being talkers per-say so I guess I always thought it was a given. lol I don't necessarily think that I have 'free time' anymore than anyone else does, but I do get the opportunity to get online most all day, as I work online. I also tend to think that most women are pretty outspoken when given the opportunity and mylot is that perfect opportunity for some.

Lets face it, women have a wider variety of experience. They wear many hats. Wife, mother, full time worker and more. Because of this they are able to relate to more of the topics. It is the woman in the family who deals with the everyday problems. Someone is sick in the family, she chooses the medicine needed. Have you ever heard of a man making a doctors appointment? If there is a problem at school with the kids, the women deals with it. Then as a worker, she deals with the same problems men do. In my opinion they write more because they relate more and need a place to vent more.
