My Aunt does for people to eat with toasts is one delights. Paste of garlic INGREDIENTS: 3 cloves of garlic 1 glass of milk (200 ml) A pinch of salt Olive olive oil to give the point WAY OF PREPARATION: 1- Beat in the blender the ingredients except the olive oil. 2- Soon afterwards with the linked blender, go adding the olive oil until giving the wanted (consistence of a paste is ideal for barbecue breads or oven) point. 3- For that amount of milk it is going 3/4 of liter of olive oil approximately, the more olive oil to put more he hardens. 4- It can reduce the milk in case he/she wants less sauce. Try is one delights.Thank you

Thanks a lot. The problem is, we cant use olive oil so lavishly cos its so so very expensive in this part of the world. Using olive oil is a luxury and i have a bottle at home which i use very rarely and only for my kids dishes. (LOL)

ROASTED GARLIC PASTE 1 pound garlic 1/2 cup olive oil salt pepper PREPARATION: Makes approximately 1 cup. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut off the top 1/3 of the garlic heads. Place the garlic heads (cut side up) in a small baking dish. Pour the olive oil over the garlic. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil and bake for about 45 minutes. Remove lid or foil and bake for another 15 minutes. Cloves will begin to brown. Remove dish from oven and let cool until you can handle the garlic with your hands. Into a medium bowl, squeeze the garlic cloves out of their skins. Using a strainer, add the oil from the baking dish to the garlic. Use a food processor or mash together with a fork until the paste has a smooth consistency. Cover tightly and refrigerate. Will last about 1 week. GARLIC GINGER PASTE 4 ounces garlic, chopped 4 ounces fresh ginger root, chopped 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed DIRECTIONS In a food processor, combine the garlic and ginger. Pulse to blend, adding small amounts of olive oil to facilitate the blending, until it makes a smooth paste. Refrigerate or freeze. i HOPE ONE OF THESE PROVES USEFULL TO YOU.

Depending on how you want to use it I have 2 suggestions. One is to roast the garlic, I know there are ceramic roasters that you put the garlic in. Bake them to soften and then squeeze the garlic out almost as a paste. Not sure if the microwave would work for that but it is something to try. Garlic is cheap enough to test it out. Another way is to take a food processor and add enough cloves of garlic to how you want it to taste to a stick of butter or margarine, or even with some olive oil if that is how you like it.

thank you very much for your suggestion which i will try today itself. We tried cutting garlic into small pieces and spread it with butter. But it is not that effective. Also we want to keep it for a while, in a fridge so that we can use it in a hurry. I never tried olive oil with garlic. Must do that and see. Thanks again and have a nice day.
