Well, Sis_Syuku, the book is based on controversial things! Now a days such kind fo things are 'readable matirial' because of it has raised 'controversial matirial' in a form, which could be more atractive to all kind of public!
By the way, religion itself is also more controversial regarding so many things, but it is a different issue! I dont think that who has a faith in Jesus could be affected by this, because they have faith in jesus, not only christianity!
You can take this as my point of view!

if you are secure in your faith then nothing can influence how you feel. If however you are still searching and exploring your spirituality then such things may influence you
keep on posting
blessed be

I have read the Da Vinci Code, and other of Dan Brown's books. I like them, I like the controvercial subjects in them. I don't believe I am influenced by them, I am pretty firm in my faith in JESUS CHRIST, and I trust HIM. The details and such Brown sets forth does help me understand some of the things that other people believe.

Before I started reading the book, I put in mind that everything I'll be reading in the novel is purely fictional (even if DB claims that what is stated in his book are true). If you have a strong faith in God, nothing can ever change that - Even The Da Vinci Book
